Book Fair September 26-29

Fall Book Fair will be Sept 26-29. Our late night will be Sept. 26th 5:30-7pm. Students will preview the book fair and then will be able to purchase books Sept. 27-29. We will accept cash, card, and E-wallet. Late night, Tuesday, September 26. 5:30-7pm

Key of Excellence: Ownership

This week students were introduced to our first Key of Excellence: Ownership. Ownership is solving our own problems, seeking our own answers, and owning the consequences of our actions. In class, students discussed that being responsible is not only in tasks we are expected to do but also in ways we are expected to act. When you act responsibly there is a result, and a lack of responsibility can lead to a consequence. We want all our Lions to take ownership of both their behavior and their learning. If you would like to explore this topic more at home some great books to read are But It's Not My Fault by Julia Cook and If Everybody Did by Jo Ann Stover.

Birthday Book Club

Celebrate your child's birthday by joining the Birthday Book Bunch. The Birthday Book Bunch is a wonderful way to donate a book to our school library in honor of your child’s birthday. No matter what month the birthday is, NOW is the time to register for this year.

The fee is $20 and includes:

A new book donated to the library with your child's name plate inside
Birthday party in the library, the 9 weeks during their birthday.
Student's name on Birthday wall during the 9 weeks of their birthday.

To join, go to your child's School Cash account and look for Birthday Book Club.

Birthday Marquee Message

You can request to have your child's name and birthdate displayed on the electronic marquee for their birthday. The cost is $20 and will be displayed the week of their birthday. For summer birthdays, list the date you would like it displayed. The marquee is updated every Friday to display the birthdays messages for the following week.

To purchase, go to your child's School Cash account and look for "Student Birthday on the Marquee". Complete the online form and submit payment. School Cash Online
