Principal's Message
Season's Greetings Knights,
Tis the season to be Merry and Bright. Please share Good Things that our Knights are doing in or out of school. We would love to boast about the wonderful things that are happening. For example, sports, clubs, extra-curricular events, grades improving, earning an A on a module exam. Anything to celebrate! Please share your Good Things with a picture and caption if possible via email to iFlagler@flaglerschools.com.
The semester ends Friday, December 22nd. All assignments, DBAs, and segment exams must be completed and submitted on or before December 22nd. Our Knights have worked hard this semester and we are proud of your self-discipline and dedication to your school work. Finish the semester strong!
I wish all of our students, families, faculty, and staff a wonderful holiday season filled with joyous celebrations and lasting memories. Have a safe and merry winter break. See you all next year.

Fortress Friday - Permission Slips Needed
New state legislation requires schools to obtain parent permission prior to students attending school sponsored events. Parents/guardians must complete the below Google Form for any student who will be participating in any of the Fortress Friday events.

No Fortress Friday and End of First Semester - 12/22/2023
The first semester is winding down! Your student has been hard at work and we want them to finish strong. At this point in the semester, students should be 85% complete with their courses. Please check your student's progress and let us know if you have any questions. All courses will close on 12/22/2023.
**Please be reminded, there will be NO Fortress Friday on 12/22/23.**
iFlagler - Professional Learning
The iFlagler teachers engaged in a team building activity at our most recent faculty meeting. The focus was on "Explicit Instruction - actions of the teacher that are clear, direct and visible. This makes instruction clear for the students and what they are being asked to do and learn." The iFlagler teachers wrote directions for making Peanut Butter and Jelly sandwiches. They were given student backgrounds and asked to adjust instruction accordingly. The activity focused on details and included many laughs. Ms. Quinn and Mr. Bannon were "the students" and followed the step by step directions. Both groups of teachers did an amazing job and the sandwiches were delicious!
