I ready is a district adopted online program that can be accessed at home to help our scholars grow in math and reading. Please help support our efforts in the building by having your scholar log on for a few mins a night.

High Expectations - Mrs. Rice has consistently displayed high expectations for ALL students. Mrs. Rice always looks for opportunities to help staff and students alike. Mrs. Rice has stepped up to be a teacher leader for the building roll out of Lexia.

Collaborative - Nurse Harris on many occasions has gone above and beyond to support families, students and staff. Nurse Harris has collaborated with many community partners in order to provide Thanksgiving Meals and Christmas Gifts for many of our students and families.

Collaborative - There are several Core Values Ms. Pollard exemplifies. She works with the kindergarten team and other staff members to fill in the gaps. She helps assess and teach our children and will step in when a teacher is missing. Ms. Pollard is also proactive when she sees a problem she steps in and voluntarily helps to solve them.

High Expectations - Mrs. Godsey is the glue that holds Ohio Avenue together. With all her duties, she finds the time to comfort parents and students who may be having a difficult time. Her office has been a safe space for many students. She provides crayons and conversations to keep the peace.

Positive and Loving Learning Environment - The intervention specialist has gone above and beyond to help staff with students that have behavior issues. Her perseverance and positive disposition makes it easy to collaborate with her. She fosters a love for the students and has taught me valuable lessons in PBIS

Collaborative - Mrs. Salyer: It was such a great experience planning and teaching math with you. Not only did you help me grow as a teacher- we were able to watch the students learn together and teach one another. I'm looking forward to planning and teaching more lessons together!

Bi Weekly Evidence Of Planning & Plan Submission

Starting the week of January 9th I will be requiring for bi-weekly evidence of planning and copies of plans. I will send a link for you all to upload your evidence and plans. Everyone will have their own individual folder for submission. If you are in need of resources or tools Mrs. Rice has been working on creating tools and identifying resources to assist in the process.



Article 214: Lesson Plans

A. Evidence of planning shall be REQUIRED of each teacher and plans shall be available for review by the principal/supervisor upon their request. The principal/supervisor shall be permitted to make a copy of the plan upon request.
