Note From Our Admin Team
Getting Involved at WMS!
We encourage all of our students to get involved at Wredling. We are fortunate to live in a school district that can afford to offer so many amazing clubs, such as Lego Club, Fishing Club, Cooking Club, and so many more! You can find a list of our clubs here.
And along with our clubs, we have a wide variety of sports that are available. You can find those on our website under the "Activities" tab. Different sports are available to different grades, and several of them are sports that students need to try out for (i.e. volleyball). But sports are another great way for students to become involved.
Our PTO also offers an activity that is often the highlight of the year... our COLORPALOOZA! This fun event includes all students, along with our families... everyone is welcome! This is a HUGE event! You can click here to learn more and click here to watch our ColorPalooza video. We will be sending out more information this week.
Encourage your RedHawk to get involved! It helps build a positive school culture, and we know that students who are connected to school do better at school!

From the WMS Health Office
We are missing a large number of sixth grade physicals? If your child hasn’t yet turned in their 6th grade physical, they must do so by October 15 or your child will be excluded from school until their completed, current physical is on file. Letters have been sent home to families who have a student missing their physical. Please contact the Wredling Health Office with questions. 331-228-3704
Career Presentations - Volunteers Needed!
For each of our 7th and 8th grade AVID classes, College and Careers plays an integral role in the classroom experience. On Fridays, we are looking for volunteers to share their career and experiences via zoom (or in person) during either 3rd, 6th, 7th or 8th period each week. (Times range from 10:20 a.m. to 3:40 p.m.) Please fill out THIS FORM if you are interested in sharing your career with our students. We will be sending a confirmation email to you once we have solidified your date and time. Thank you so much for sharing your expertise and time with our students and staff.
i-Ready Reports being sent home
Redhawk families you should expect an envelope containing your child's most recent i-Ready reports TODAY.(9-8-23) These will be sent home by your child's 1st or 2nd period class. If you have questions, please contact Francesca Favero at francesca.favero@d303.org or 331-228-5232. Thank you.
Parent Education Series
The Parent Education Series is D303's way of empowering parents and guardians to support their children's academic, social, and emotional needs through a series of information sessions. Become informed on specialized topics, engage in two-way dialogue with speakers and fellow parents, and become a support resource for others. The sessions offered are based on feedback from our parents and may feature teachers and staff, community partners, or guests from afar who specialize in topics relevant to our District. Please click here for a list of our exciting upcoming sessions!

Resources for Families
In D303, we value the opportunity to provide a community of care and support to our families, especially those faced with financial hardship. If your family is experiencing a significant financial need, our community partnerships have several supports available for families, including school clothes/shoes, winter coats/accessories, school supplies, toiletries, holiday meals, and holiday gifts. If you would like to be considered for any of these supports, please complete the Family Resource Form by September 1, 2023.
Can You Help Us Out?
Creativity Needed!
Mr.Loversky is looking for a parent (or two) who have some creativity to help us get some photos into our wall frames, along with adding some spirit banners. If you work for a printing company or you have a good eye for this sort of thing, then we need your help. Contact Principal Loversky at tim.loversky@d303.org.
Do You Have a Tree Contact?
We have a large piece of property with very few trees on it, and we would like to add a few additional trees. Some of our classes or teams would like to work on this arbor project. If you are someone who can help us out, please contact Principal Loversky at tim.loversky@d303.org.
