This event will have two divisions running simultaneously.

There will be six elevated match fields, three fields per division.

Spherion, one of our main sponsors, will hold their interview sessions again this year, along side our team of judges They will provide helpful interview tips and feedback for teams that are entering the Excellence or Design awards. This has been a very well received experience over the last few years. This year it will run from 8.30 am until 2pm on Thursday January 18th. This will count as your pit/first interview for judged awards. They will be located in the pit area. Teams need to go to a Spherion pit interview table to get their initial interview. See map for their location.

We will be using the new smart field control system that was used at worlds this year. Please see the attached link and make sure your robot is setup ready for the field control system.

Waterpark Towels - Please note the following!!

Bring your own towels!!

Bring your own or rent them! As long as the towels are returned daily, there's no

charge for our overnight guests. If towels are not returned, there is a daily

charge of $20 per towel.

1. Please make sure that you check in at the competition registration desk before entering the main event area. See map for details.
2. There is no outdoor food allowed in the event. This is the rule of the Kalahari Convention Center. There will be concessions available in the event area and there are also restaurants available in the main reception area. See map or website.
3. Team pizza can be ordered at the concessions stand. Please order as early in the day as you can.
4. Skills will run for a little bit prior to the team parade and then after the qualifying matches start, all through the day, until the finals matches take place which should be around 4:30 pm.
5. Enjoy the team parade. Each school will walk onto the stage and have their picture taken as a group. Coaches can join if they want to! I would encourage the teams to be as colorful as possible for this part of the proceedings!
6. Each team will have a pit table.
7. Make sure each team member brings safety glasses with them.
8. All engineering notebooks must be turned in during team registration..
