YOUR WEEKLY COMMUNICATION ABOUT ALL THINGS MURASKI
A Message from the Principals
Good Morning Muraski Families,
With wrapped up last week with two phenomenal days of school. Mrs. Moon, Mrs. Valichnac, and Ms. Dykstra led our incredible students in the Art Show, where students visual arts were on display, students' musical talents in the choir were on display, and we even had a skit put on by some of our amazing 5th graders.
On Friday, we celebrated an SEL day with the support of our PTA. During this day the students were able to enjoy a presentation by an author, see animals with Jungle Terry, choose from a variety of arts and fitness experiences, do some breathing and yoga, as well engage in other activities that promote the growth and development of the whole child. Thank you to the PTA for the support.
We were also able to celebrate and OUTSTANDING Staff Appreciation Week! Our staff felt so appreciated with the events, breakfasts, and lunches. It was awesome because of you all, as well as our amazing PTA.
We have two more exciting weeks. Let's make them great ones at Muraski!
Let's have a great week!
Mike Griffen
Students Will Be Keeping Their District Chromebook This Summer: Grades 3-5
Students in grades 3-12 will be keeping their Chromebooks over the summer break. Students will be responsible for keeping the Chromebooks and their cases in working order for use next year. If your student does experience any issues with their Chromebook over the summer, please click HERE or visit bit.ly/scssummertechticket to submit a Tech Ticket. A Tech Department member will contact you within two business days to assist. If your student is leaving the district over the summer, they will need to turn in their Chromebook on the last day of school. Please click HERE or visit bit.ly/scscbl to submit your student’s name to inform our department to collect the Chromebook. If you have any questions, please contact Dave Binkley at dbinkley@scsmustangs.org.

UPCOMING EVENTS
First Annual Muraski Career Fair
During this day, students will get to hear from individuals in a variety of fields, so students know what is out there and available to them. Our hope is to encourage them to dream big, but also see the connection between education and whatever their future might hold. With this, we will emphasize our Model Mustang Competencies, developing students that are:
Collaborative
Innovative
Resilient
Empowered
Global
