I say it every year, but it's amazing how fast this semester has flown by! With December off and running now, finals will be here before we know it! As the end of the semester approaches, this is a good time to offer a little extra support to our kids and to remind them that they've got this! For many of our students, they are facing deadlines, unit tests and cumulative exams, IAs, and possibly lots of other demands on their time and energy. Remind them to stay focused and that break is almost here!

I hope you all are able to spend time with friends, family, and loved ones during this holiday season. And to all of our students, good luck with finals! You're going to do great!!!

Please plan to join us for the IB EE Silver Tray Celebration on Tuesday, December 12 @ 8:45am in the DRHS library. This ceremony will mark the end of the EE journey for our students, and they will share with our audience information about each of their topics and things they learned along the way. I hope you'll join us next Tuesday to mark this important milestone!

Attention sophomore Pre-IB students and families!

Please plan to join us for an incredibly important IB Pathways meeting on Thursday, January 11, 2024 @ 6:00pm in the DRHS library. This meeting is VERY important and will cover information regarding registration and the different options for sophomores going into their junior year. It is important that 10th grade Pre-IB students and a parent/guardian attend this meeting. This will be the only meeting held to explain the options and process for 11th grade registration.

If your son/daughter is sitting for IB exams in May 2024, their IB exam fees are due by Friday, January 26, 2024. The most convenient method for paying fees is through the Infinite Campus Parent Portal (located on Dakota Ridge's homepage under "Family"). The fee for each IB exam is $125. If you are unsure of what you owe for the May 2024 exam session, log into the Infinite Campus Parent Portal.

Give the gift of travel this holiday season! We are headed to Venice, Rome, and Florence for Spring Break 2025! If your son or daughter has not had the opportunity to join us on one of our international trips, now is the time!
