What's Up At The Nest...
Principal's Message
Dear OMS families,
The temperatures are starting to drop outdoors, but it's nice and warm at the nest! Students completed another wonderful week of learning, both at home and at school. We thank you, as always, for your ongoing support. Have a wonderful weekend!
In continued collaboration,
Erin, Julia, and the OMS Staff
P.S. A huge thank you to our PTA Beautification/Ecology Committee Chairs (Nancy Weber and Diane Beardmore) for our beautiful winter planters.
Tuesday, December 8th = Monday Specials Schedule
Tuesday, December 8th is a "Monday Specials Schedule"
In other words - kids will attend school in-person on Tuesday. For those students that have Art, PE, Music, or LMC on Monday they will have those specials again on Tuesday. All other aspects of our day will be considered a regular Tuesday. Please check with your classroom teacher for the daily schedule.
Why are there so many greyed out boxes on the report card?

If you have any questions please don't hesitate to send us a note.
Sincerely,
The Six Flags Read to Succeed Team

Holiday Books - Around the World
Each year the OMS Principals celebrate the upcoming holidays by reading stories to our students and doing a service project. This year we will continue this tradition but it will look a little different. Details will be shared soon. As we were searching for a book to read, we reached out to our PTA Every Owl Counts Committee for book recommendations. We hope that you will find time to check some of these books out from the library or find them online to read with your children. If you have a book that you read with your child that highlights your family's culture please let us know. We would love to continue to add to our list!
