The mission of Omaha North High Magnet School is to prepare all students for success in lifelong studies and careers.

The Physical Education Leadership ladies were putting in that work again! Excited to watch them compete this winter!

On December 10th and 11th we will be hosting the largest robotics competition in Nebraska. We will have over 100 teams from around the country coming in to compete. Dinner on Friday and Lunch on Saturday will be provided. Along with meals, signing up for this competition you will receive a limited edition Omah North Robotics t-shirt.

Information:

• The online applications must be submitted by Friday, December 3rd.
  
• The application must be finished in one sitting.
• Zoo staff will interview selected students before final selection.
• If selected, student is responsible for transportation.

The Susan Thompson Buffett Scholarship is now available. Students with a 2.0 or higher gpa can apply for this scholarship at the link below. It is due February 1st. Contact your school counselor with any questions.

ArteLatinX is a biennial art exhibition bringing together Latinx artists from all over the Great Plains. The High School Exhibition allows all high school students in the following school districts: Omaha Public Schools, Bellevue Public Schools, Papillion-La Vista Community Schools, Ralston Public Schools, Council Bluffs Community Schools, and Omaha Catholic Schools to submit one art piece. This exhibit will be a juried exhibition with 30 available slots.

All students are welcome to apply. Latinx students are especially encouraged!

The dimensions of the art piece are Portrait 11 x 14 inches; the art piece can be executed with any technique of illustration, painting, digital art, printmaking, collage, etc.

Art pieces should relate to the official motto/lema of ArteLatinX 2022: “In It Together/Juntos en Esto”.

Submissions must be submitted by Tuesday, February 22, 2022, at 11:59pm.
