Breanna Maloney - Sophomore, Varsity Competitive Cheer

Breanna works extremely hard for the cheerleading team. She is always on time for practices and willing to stay late when needed. She never puts herself above her team. According to Coach Bailey Reiter, “Breanna is the true definition of a team player.” She has stepped up this season as a base and anytime someone was sick or not able to participate, Breanna stepped up. The whole team can always count on her. She helped the Varsity competitive cheer team score 628.4 points at districts last weekend.

Ben Fisher - Junior, Varsity Basketball

A 3-year varsity player, Ben helped the Trojans get back on the winning track last week with two victories over Clintondale and Marysville. Ben tallied 16 points, 5 rebounds and 3 assists in the 48-41 win over Clintondale and finished with 11 points in the 41-38 win over Marysville. Ben’s ability to break down his opponent and get to the rim has propelled the Trojan offense this season.

Mrs. Stevens (mother of Hayden and Gabe Stevens) and Mr. Bosnic (father of Devan Bosnic) represented Clawson HS at the boys varsity basketball game at Madison as the "Dynamic Duo" showing off their basketball skills at halftime to win the layup and free throw contest for spectators! Congrats - Mrs. Stevens and Mr. Bosnic - You make CHS proud!

Clawson HS track and field team is looking for more athletes! No previous experience necessary - Meet Coach Reaume on Friday March 4 in the CHS Media Center at 2:45pm.

Clawson HS Baseball will have a sign-up meeting on Wednesday March 9 at 2:45pm in the CHS Media Center.

Our Boys Lacrosse Co-op Team have started Pre-Season Weight Room Workouts on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:30-7pm in the Bishop Foley weight room. The season officially starts on Monday, March 14th. All practices and home games will be at Bishop Foley.

Make sure you have a current physical on file and you create a planeths account (details below)! Winter Sports offered at CMS include:

• Track and Field- open to all 6th, 7th and 8th graders

• Softball - open to 7th and 8th graders only

• Baseball - open to 7th and 8th graders only
• Swim and Dive - open to 6th, 7th and 8th graders

Note: Students must be signed in to their school email in order to complete the Interest Survey!

There will be a MS Swim Parent Meeting on Wednesday March 16th at Lamphere's

Pool at 6:oo pm

Practice starts Monday March 21st and will be Mon-Thur 3:00-4:45 pm

All student-athletes in High School and Middle School must have the following in order to participate in athletics at CHS and CMS:

1. Current Physical (dated on or after April 15, 2021)
2. PlanetHS.com account (click here for video on how to do this)
3. Athlete Code of Conduct (on PlanetHS.com)
4. Pay to Participate
