Welcome Back to School, Ram Families!!

We kicked off 2023-24 school year successfully! We are currently meeting with students interested in schedule changes and will be completed and closing changes by Sept 8th. Flex Time will be a little different this year, but it will address all our goals for the year. We will be working on being Rowdy Rams on Mondays, Academic supports and focus on Tuesday and Thursday, Workforce and College/Career Learning on Wednesdays and Fun Clubs on Fridays. Stay tuned for updates and celebrations of this time during our day.

Cheer Alum Night

The Galesburg-Augusta Varsity Cheerleaders are hosting an alum night, welcoming past cheerleaders to perform for the first half of the 2023 Homecoming Game on Friday, September 29th. Cheerleaders from any previous year are welcome to register and attend. The current varsity cheerleaders will review cheers and stunts to help alumni refresh material for the game. The review practices will take place at the HS cafeteria on Monday, September 18th, and Monday, September 25th from 4:00 to 5:00 PM. If you plan on participating in the event, you are asked to attend at least one of these practices in order to help prepare you for the game. Drop off forms at the HS office.

PreK-8 Rams Cheer Camp

Maybe your child has never cheered or is a veteran cheerleader, all they need is spirit! Cheer camp is open to any G-A Ram from Pre-K to 8th Grade. The camp is taught by the GAHS Varsity cheerleaders. Registration includes a t-shirt, hair bow, and free admission* to cheer during the first half of the 7:00 GAHS Varsity Football game on October 6th. The last day to Sign Up is Wednesday, September 13th! Drop off forms at the HS office. Registration forms will be available at the Primary and Middle School Open Houses this Wednesday.

*Parent/guardians still need to purchase a ticket for entrance

The Music Booster Board welcomes parents/guardians, students and community members to support the music program at Galesburg-Augusta Schools by volunteering. On top of needing people to join our executive board, we also need help throughout the year with various events and performances. We depend on your support and dedication to keep the program running.
