WMS LMC Update

#1: November 13, 2023

We want you and your students to feel welcome at the Library Media Center (LMC) whenever they need a book, have a question, or need a little research help... to this end, we will be distributing two (2) LMC passes to every LA teacher, and then ultimately to every teacher thereafter! We are starting with 2 passes per LA teacher so that we don't get inundated by students too quickly...

Please be sure to teach your students to respect the pass - it should be used with purpose in mind, and your directions of time frame they can be at the LMC should be clear to them! When they arrive at the LMC, they will be asked to sign in digitally so we can track their needs for the LLC overall and for kiddos specifically.

Expect these in your mailboxes in the next day or so!

Book some time with me in the LMC or in your classroom - with or without the kiddos!

Heads up, we will be undertaking a relatively enormous project in the LMC which entails reclassifying and then re-shelving our entire fiction collection into genres so that our students are more able to find (or discover) what they'd like to read... more on this coming soon, but please bear with us as it might get a little crazy for a bit!
