An Extraordinary Place to Learn
Principal's Message
Dolphin Family,
I know this was not the Spring Break most of us had planned, but it is my sincere hope that you were able to rest and relax as much as possible with family, while continuing to practice social distancing. I miss each of you so much and am anxiously waiting to see you all again!
As you are aware, Governor Kemp has announced that all school systems in Georgia will remain closed for traditional face to face instruction through the end of the 2019-2020 school year; however remote learning will continue. I realize that we are experiencing a myriad of emotions as teachers, leaders, parents, and most importantly our scholars. However, we are certain this decision is best for the health and well-being of our community.
The district is currently working toward plans as to how we will close out the school year successfully. As information is shared with me, I will make sure I communicate with the dolphin family. Information regarding grading, registration, transitioning to Middle School, and end of the year processes and procedures will be forthcoming, so stay tuned.
Our teachers will continue to provide instruction via Remote Learning. They are continuously working on delivering instruction virtually through live lessons, videos, and online applications. As we move forward providing virtual instruction, we ask that parents continue to communicate your scholar’s needs, as well as your needs as it relates to academic support. We want our students to remain highly engaged and continue to grow as we close out the school year. Our teachers have specified work hours available for you and you will receive a response to any of your emails or electronic messages within 24 hours.
Immediate help is available at our Remote Learning Hotline to help with technology issues. I have included the contact information below.
I will continue to provide consistent communication and encourage the same from all teachers. We need you now more than ever! Please, assist us with supporting our scholars!
The School Governance Council and PTA will work collaboratively with our school team to ensure our families are engaged and developing a virtual support system for academic structures and support. The school remains dedicated to ensuring you are fully supported. Our next SGC Meeting will be held on April 21, 2020. This meeting is not open for public comment, however, minutes will be posted on our school website following the meeting.
Continue to be mindful of social distancing, please stay inside if at all possible. Remember the Governor has extended the shelter in place order through April 30, 2020. Please stay safe and protect yourselves and families. As always, I am grateful to partner with each of you. We are all in this together!
I miss you all more than you know!
In Partnership,
Principal Wilson, Proud Dolphin

Remote Learning Digital Dolphin Challenge Week 2
We had two students win badges during our first digital dolphin challenge. This week we are looking for more. We know remote learning can be challenging, and it is important to us that our scholars enjoy learning as well. Please tweet pictures of your scholar completing the digital challenge and tag @randolphdolphin, or send pictures to the teacher. Use the link below to access the Digital Dolphin Challenge for this week. Our focus for week 2 is e-Library.
