DEAR PRIMARY FAMILIES,
KINDERGARTEN REGISTRATION FOR 2024-2025 BEGINS FEBRUARY 6, 2024
If you have a child who turns five years old on or before August 1, 2024, it is time to prepare for kindergarten registration for next school year. To learn about the registration process which begins on February 6, click here. If you would like to guarantee your child is enrolled in the tuition-based all-day kindergarten program, there is an option to submit the tuition deposit by March 1. To learn more about a guaranteed all-day kindergarten placement for your child, click here. If you currently have a child enrolled in the New Albany Learning Center Preschool Program who will be of age for kindergarten next school year, you will receive registration information directly from the ELC since your child is already enrolled with the New Albany-Plain Local Schools.
EAGLE SUMMER DAY CAMP INFORMATION
The K-6 Eagle Summer Day Camp program is being discontinued. The New Albany area provides a number of child care options for those of you who need supervision for your children this summer. While we cannot recommend or endorse any specific center, we have compiled a list of local options to assist you in starting your selection process which you can access by clicking here. CAMP INVENTION RETURNS JUNE 3 TO 7, 2024
New Albany will host Camp Invention the week of June 3-7th, 2024. This year's program is available to any child entering grades K-6 in the 2024-2025 school year. Please click here for more information.
TWO-HOUR SCHOOL DELAYS

The following lunch schedule will be used on a two-hour delay school day:
Yellow Hallway: 11:25-11:55
Purple Hallway: 12:00-12:30
Green Hallway: 12:40-1:10
Blue Hallway: 1:15-1:45
STUDENT ILLNESS
As the weather changes, cold and flu season comes too! We hope for our Primary students to be at school every day, but there are times when illness requires them to stay home. If you are unsure if your child can attend school, please refer to this page from the district website through Health Services.
If your child must stay home due to illness, please call or email our attendance hotline to report their illness.

As a reminder, if your child has any pre-planned absences (family trips, etc), please complete this form and return it to school at least 7 days before the absence.

PTO UPDATE
Thank you to everyone who helped with the Thank You Month activities for January. The HRPs and classroom volunteers did an amazing job helping the hallways collaborate on projects to surprise the cafeteria staff, custodial staff, educational assistants, and administrative staff! We know a lot of work and coordination went into getting these projects accomplished -- Thank you to everyone involved!
Family Bingo is back on February 10th from 3-5pm. There will be AMAZING PRIZES and several ways to WIN! Snacks, Kindness activities and Spirit Wear will be available. Please RSVP here (or scan QR code on flyer)
