Full STEAM Ahead
September is National Suicide Prevention Month
During the month of September, students in grades 6-12 will be taking part in the Take 5 to Save Lives call to action. During these following days and weeks students will learn about 5 action steps they can take to help care for themselves or someone else that may be struggle with suicidal ideation.
The teachers and staff at our Pre-Kindergarten and Elementary campuses will promote emotional well-being by focusing on connectedness and resiliency skills throughout this month and school year.
We also want to share resources with you all. Suicide is a public health concern that is complex and can affect anyone. Throughout this month we will share videos, resources, and information about risk factors, warning signs, and protective factors that help us build resiliency, hope, and help-seeking communities.
