Seagoville Fire Department
The Fire Department hopes everybody got through the heat this summer safely. We are also very glad to see our Seagoville kids back in school and around the community. As the holiday season approaches we just want to give out a few reminders to keep your loved ones safe.
1. Do not leave cooking food unattended.
2. Christmas trees dry out quickly and become extremely flammable, which make candles and even lights an easy way to set your tree on fire.
3. Christmas lights are awesome decoration, just be careful on ladders as you put them up and take them down this year.
These are just a few simple things you can do to help keep yourself and others around you safe. We want to wish everybody a Happy Thanksgiving and Merry Christmas. Don’t forget to check your smoke alarms. We look forward to serving our citizens in the community. Take care and God Bless.
