Thanks for your support of our Charleston Wraps Fundraiser! We have extended the deadline to Wednesday, September 21st to help reach our goal. The funds raised will help buy sun shades for the playground as seen here.

Picture Day is on Thursday, September 29! Next week you will receive a flyer/order form as well as an online link where you may order pictures. Every student is photographed. The pictures are used in the Craig yearbook.

The photographers will be set up in the cafeteria and our students will eat in their classrooms. Therefore, we will not have lunch visitors that day. Thanks for your understanding and support!

Craig is happy to announce our Science and Engineering STEM Fair. Students have the opportunity to complete an innovative STEM project. We hope you agree that the educational benefits are numerous, as students develop skills in writing, creative thinking, and problem solving. This project is voluntary for all students in K-5. For more information, please see the attached parent letter. Thank you!

Book Fair is September 26-30. We are cashless again this year, so check out our eWallet option! Don’t worry, we take credit cards as well. However, credit cards are only accepted with an adult present. We will be open until 5pm on Monday, September 26th, to accommodate parents who may have conflicts during the day. Come shop with us!

Please log in to your MyPaymentsPlus account and sign off on receipt of the new handbook and new Policy JCDI.

On Monday, October 3 at 9am, we will have a Town Hall meeting. Parents, please join us and meet with Principal Angie Wright. It's your opportunity to catch up on all the great learning going on at Craig and ask questions or voice concerns.

Please check the front portico for lost jackets, lunch boxes and water bottles regularly. At the end of each month, all items will be donated.

Ice cream will be sold on Fridays! All ice cream costs $1 - bills only; no change please. Orders are taken and filled at the very start of the day. Therefore, please do not drop off ice cream money later in the day if your child forgets it. There is always next week to order! Three choices are offered each week; one is always non-dairy. Teachers also have the nutritional ingredients for each choice if your child has allergies to specific items. Ice cream is distributed at the end of lunch in the cafeteria.

Remember:

• Bring a photo ID with you to check in.
• No fast food is not allowed in our cafeteria.
• Visitors asked to enter and exit through main school entrance.
• Visitors should not escort children to recess, clinic, classrooms or other parts of the builing.
