It's a Wrap...Final Flyer!
Arcola, 10/25/21
Dear Arcola Families,
It has been an incredible pleasure and experience leading a school in the district that I now call home. Arcola Intermediate School is a very special and unique place where people truly work on behalf of all students. The staff is supportive of one another and when you are part of the community you are in it for life! Over the past five years I have watched students benefit from the supports this staff has to offer. It is a most challenging time to be an adolescent and it takes a very special group of people to work with, understand and assist children and families at this turbulent time. These relationships are what matters the most to me and I will always remember working with and getting to know the amazing students and families of this community.
We have been working on a transition plan over the past few months and Mr. Bourdreau is on board as of today! I am grateful for the opportunity to have been a part of this family and look forward to a new journey in this district! Stay safe, stay strong and stay true.
With gratitude and appreciation,
Dr. Amy K. Mangano

Back-Pack Program
The Methacton Backpack program is up and running in each of our buildings and serves district families in need with supplemental food and non-food items. This program helps create food stability for breakfast and lunch when our students are not in school. Weekly, the program sends home a bag of breakfast, lunch, and snack items for the weekend and holiday breaks for students in Kindergarten through 12th grade. Families who qualify for free/reduced meals are eligible to participate in the Backpack Program. Please contact the school counselor if you would like to register your child for the Backpack program.
In order to continue to sustain the program please consider contributing and donating items to the program. Items can be donated directly to the school or you can place an order through Amazon and ship it directly to our school from the Amazon page.
