"Encouragement is oxygen for the soul" John C. Maxwell
I hope everyone had a restful and wonderful Thanksgiving. Even in our most challenging days, there is always something to be grateful for. We are looking forward to the next few weeks and to close out year 2023! We will all be super busy with mid-year testing, like MAP and DRA, as well as ensuring essential standards are covered prior to the end of this first semester. Holidays are fun, but can feel very busy and stressful. Encouraging others, teachers, and your family can bring immediate smiles and a new sense of inner strength to keep going. I challenge you to also encourage your child and talk to your child about staying organized, prioritizing work, doing his/her best each day, and of course getting plenty of sleep. It's also important to celebrate small wins along the way. Celebrating any accomplishment, great or small, will boost your mood, motivation, and attention.
