Center Community Chat
January 7, 2024
Dear Center Community,
Happy New Year! We hope everyone has stayed safe in the storm and had a chance to get outside and enjoy a bit of the winter wonderland.
It was wonderful to have everyone back at Center and engaged in learning and connecting with one another this week. We have a busy week ahead with Dining to Donate tomorrow at the Establishment and the CSPTO meeting on Wednesday at 7PM in the library. Hope to see you at one of these events.
Kindergarten Registration
Please note that kindergarten registration begins this month for the 2024/25 school year on Tuesday, January 30th and Wednesday, January 31st. Registration is by appointment only using the following link. Anyone registering will be contacted to confirm the date and time to come to our Central Administration Building located at 230 North Road to meet with a secretary from your child’s designated elementary school to complete the registration process. Additional information about required paperwork for this appointment may be found here. Please spread the word to any family, friends, and neighbors that may have a kindergarten-aged child entering the school district for the first time.
Dining to Donate
Looking for a night off from cooking? Here is your chance to support Center and give yourself a break from the kitchen. Dining to Donate is on Monday, January 8th. Stop by the Establishment any time on that day (dine in or take out) and 25% of food proceeds will be donated to Center School. Be sure to tell your server you are there from Center School.
Taste of Chelmsford Raffle Tickets on Sale
Taste of Chelmsford is the CSPTO's largest and most successful fundraiser, and the primary contributor to funding our student enrichment programs.
This year we are running our raffle in February and ticket sales start NOW for Center friends and family. Each ticket is $25 and offers 29 chances to win over $5K in amazing prizes from Chelmsford area restaurants and small businesses (YES, we've had repeat winners!). As always, only 1000 tickets will be sold-- you can purchase as many as you like--so get yours now before they sell out (it's the perfect stocking stuffer!).

A Note from Mr. McGillicuddy
The Boston Children’s Chorus is a fantastic organization that “harnesses the power of music to connect our city's diverse communities, cultivate empathy, and inspire social inquiry.” I highly recommend attending their Annual MLK, Jr. Concert on January 15th at 4:00 PM.
