Leadership Message
Dear St. Luke Families,
This week students participated in the annual Terry Fox run. This year students ran through our community to show our support for the Terry Fox campaign. Our amazing school raised over $600.00 surpassing our original goal of $500.00 for cancer research. A wonderful way to contribute to this cause.Thank-you to the parents who came out and helped control the flow of traffic for our students.
Next week the school will be participating in another worthy cause. I encourage our whole school community to put on an orange shirt Friday September 29th. November 30th marks the National Truth and Reconciliation Day. A day that honors the Indigenous children who never returned home and Survivors of residential schools, as well as their families and communities. The orange shirt is a symbol that we wear to promote the concept that “Every Child Matters”.
Have a wonderful weekend and enjoy the beginning of our Fall season!
Let's make this year GLOW!
