THE HOLIDAY SHOP
Typically the PTO hosts an in-school holiday shop where all of our Bears get to shop for gifts for the special people in their lives. As was done last year, our Holiday Shop will be virtual this year in order to comply with COVID restrictions.
This doesn't mean that our Bears will miss out on joy of shopping for gifts. It simply means they can now shop from the comfort of home anytime during Dec 6 - 10. With your help, your child will log into our school specific website, where they will view and be able to purchase a large variety of gifts in many different price ranges. Parents will have the opportunity to help their Bear shop or simply view the total amount spent before checking out.

SAVE AROUND COUPON BOOKS SALE EXTENDED
Our Save Around Coupon Book sale has been extended though Dec 19! Coupon books contain tons of discounts to local vendors and pay for themselves! The 2022 edition comes with a full year's worth of savings and includes a free 12-month savings app with thousands of local and national coupons available right at your fingertips.
Purchases can me made here and include FREE SHIPPIING. For every 5 books you purchase you get 1 book FREE. Please see the attached flyer for additional details and step by step instructions on purchasing and a specialized link you can share with family and friends so they can get their copy too.

LAST CHANCE TO SEND THE FLOCK UNTIL SPRING
Last chance to send our flock to someone before they fly south for the winter! Our Flock will be flying to warmer weather on Dec 23rd. Don't fret though! If you don't get send the flock before then, they will be returning in March.
Help support BGS while having a little pink flamingo fun! Make a $25 donation to send a flock of 20 pink flamingos to your friends', neighbors', or family members' front yards! The flock will fly in overnight and fly on to a new location after 2 days.
Send the flock to someone on their birthday, to celebrate a milestone, as a pick me up, or just for fun! You can send the flock to anyone who lives within the BGS attendance area. All flocking is anonymous! A $5 donation allows the recipient to find out who sent the flock their way.
Want to make sure you aren't flocked? No problem! For a $10 donation you can purchase Flocking Insurance. If someone tries to flock you at any point during the school year, the flamingos will go to them instead!

SPIRIT WEAR UPDATE
A limited number of BGS branded masks in both adult and kid sizes, as well as vintage spirt wear continue to be on sale in PtBoard.
CRAFTS WITH FROSTY
The PTO is happy to bring back our popular Crafts with Frosty event this year. Due to the COVID restrictions, our event will be virtual this year.
The PTO will be sending home a free winter craft kit with each of our Bears in the coming week. Please do not open these kits as we will be hosting a virtual zoom event where our PTO Vice-President will guide our Bears through the craft on the morning of December 18th.
We are looking forward to having our BGS Bears participate in this festive event. Stay tuned for further details!
