PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE
What a wonderful gathering it was at the Clifford Multi-Cultural Festival! We were truly delighted to see numerous students, families, and dedicated staff members in attendance. Our heartfelt gratitude goes out to our exceptional Family Center staff, namely Albert Lowe and Melissa Paulino-Romero, the tireless efforts of our PTO, and the invaluable contributions of our dedicated parent volunteers, whose collective dedication made this event an outstanding success.
Our taste buds embarked on a global journey as we savored delectable dishes from around the world, lovingly prepared by our own families, showcasing their cherished culinary traditions. The atmosphere was filled with the melodious tunes and vibrant rhythms of a live mariachi band and the captivating performances of the Baile Folklorico group.
For our young attendees, the festivities included a bouncy jungle gym, the artistic magic of face-painting, creative coloring activities, and an exciting opportunity to connect with members of the local Sheriff's department. The highlight, of course, was the chance for the children to sit in a Sheriff's car, an experience that left them positively thrilled.
Once again, thank you to everyone who played a part in making the Clifford Multi-Cultural Festival an unforgettable celebration of culture, community, and togetherness.
We look forward to seeing you all at the next Clifford Community Event!
Best regards,
Kristy Jackson

Principal's Coffee - Friday, October 20th - 8:15 am
We are thrilled to invite you to our upcoming Principal's Coffee, where we will delve into the captivating world of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) education. This promises to be an engaging and informative session that you won't want to miss!
Our Principal's Coffee sessions are an excellent opportunity for parents to connect, share ideas, and learn more about the educational initiatives happening at our school. This time, our focus is on STEAM, a dynamic approach to learning that integrates various disciplines to inspire creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills in our students.
Enjoy some light refreshments and refresh your perspective on the incredible opportunities STEAM education provides! We will begin in the library and then make our way over to the Maker Space in room 10. We look forward to seeing you!

Unity Day!
Every year on the third or fourth Wednesday in October, a very special event comes around — the Day of Unity, or Unity Day, as it is commonly called, which is celebrated on October 18 this year. This is the signature event of National Bullying Prevention Month, also celebrated in October. Multiple anti-bullying campaigns — of which Unity Day is one of them, are organized during this period. The key message of this month, and this day, is to unite for kindness, courage, and inclusion, to prevent students from being bullied.
Orange has been designated the prime color for this day. Students can show their support for the cause by wearing something orange on Wednesday, October 18!
