Daniela Novoa recently received the College Board Hispanic Recognition Award, which is based on an accumulation score from her GPA, PSAT, and her AP Tests.

Congratulations to Daniela for accomplishing this unbelievable feat!

A giant Thank You to our grade 8 science teachers for organizing such a fun field trip and our gratitude to the SMHS PTSA for their generous donation which helped lower the overall cost.

The Latin Club held their second meeting of the year where they explored Roman engineering! Students were given the same set of supplies and competed to see who could catapult a marshmallow the farthest. Latin Club is open for all students in grades 7-12 who are enrolled in Latin. The Latin Club meets Wednesdays at 6:45 AM. Please see Magistra Creighton for more information.

The deadline for senior portraits is November 1, 2023. There are various ways to submit the portrait:

• The student's photographer can send the portrait to Scott Childress, Yearbook Advisor at schildress@sandwich.k12.ma.us
• The student can email the portrait to Mr. Childress directly (schildress@sandwich.k12.ma.us)
