Registration Fee for 2024-2025 paid on February 15th through TADS
Re-enrollment has started. Your child's registration fee will be deducted from your account on February 15, 2024. The fee for returning students is $50/student.
If your child is not returning next year, please let us know before this date.
Re-enrollment for the 2024-2025 school year
We are beginning to plan for the 2024-2025 school year. After signing your initial K-8 tuition agreement, enrollment in future years is continuous and tuition agreements will carry over each year until your child graduates from 8th grade. This means that you will no longer have to complete the enrollment process each year, unless you have a new child entering the school such as a new kindergartner, or preschooler.
This will be a huge time-saver for you in future years and it will help us be more efficient and more fiscally responsive. No action is needed at this time, unless your child will not be returning next school year, in which case, please notify the school in writing by January 31st.
Registration Fee and Tuition: An annual non-refundable $50 per student registration fee will be charged to your TADS account, on or around February 15th for students who will be enrolled for the 2024-2025 school year at Sacred Heart Catholic School.
We will notify families at the end of January regarding changes to tuition rates and fees. It is the responsibility of each family to then adjust account information (i.e. address, phone number, emails) and payment plans (one, two, or 10 monthly payments) through TADS each spring.
Tuition Agreements (Action needed in spring): Once tuition agreements generate in TADS in spring, parents will be notified via email (from TADS) to sign their tuition agreement for the 2024-2025 school year.
Once the registration fee is charged and paid through TADS, a place will be reserved for each student. However, acceptance of the registration fee does not guarantee admission for the following year. Continuous enrollment will be based on a family’s good standing in meeting financial obligations to the school.
If you have any questions regarding the enrollment process, please contact Karen Bursey at 763-285-6255 or email kbursey@shcsr.org.

Can you help volunteer?
The Catholic Schools Center for Excellence (CSCOE) is hosting a Mass of the Holy Spirit on Monday, January 29 at the Excel Energy Center. The Sacred Heart PTC is one of three school parent groups that has been invited to provide volunteers for the mass in exchange for a grant to further our community support.
CSCOE’s need is for us to act as ushers/way-finders in the Excel Center, which obviously requires a lot of people to cover the space and the number of students attending. We would need at least 10, but the more people we can provide, the bigger the grant, therefore we would like to aim for 30 parents, active grand parents, and/or other responsible adults to sign up to help out. We will arrange carpooling from Sacred Heart for volunteers, parking will be provided, and there will be on-site training for the ushering/way-finding the morning of the Mass. There are also a handful of opportunities to help with set up/take down which requires loading a truck at the CSCOE offices on Sunday, Jan 28, then unloading at the Excel. Then after the mass on Monday, loading at the Excel and unloading at the CSCOE offices in Edina Monday afternoon. (Ms. Bursey will provide free Kid’s club to any parents that are helping with the take down and can’t get back to school on time for pick up.) Please visit Sign Up to volunteer and help PTC further support our Sacred Heart Community.
This grant from CSCOE will allow us to consider things like microphones for the plays and other bigger ticket items on the teachers’ wish lists and to continue doing more assemblies/ in-school field trips or service projects. We are always looking for more members as well! If you are interested in helping with PTC or have any questions, please email Frances de Kooker at francesrivera19@gmail.com or Elizabeth Perpich at esperpich@gmail.com.

Catechesis of the Good Shepherd program
Messiah and Savior
In the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd Atrium, the children hear about the proclamation that the angel of the Lord made to the shepherds: For today in the city of David a savior has been born for you who is Messiah and Lord. (Luke 2:11). We know Jesus by many names. The name Messiah means anointed one. Luke is the only (synoptic) gospel writer to use the title Savior for Jesus.
Need help paying for tuition?
MN Fundraising Initiative (MNFI) secures contracts with over 23 venues in the greater Twin Cities area including Target Field, Target Center, Canterbury, and US Bank to operate food and beverage concessions stands at their events.
MNFI organizes teams of volunteers from all over the state of MN and WI who work together to run these stands. In turn, MNFI receives donations from these venues. The donations are then used to award grants to families in local communities to allow youth to attend private school, such as Sacred Heart Catholic School and participate in enrichment activities they may not otherwise be able to enjoy. Checks are mailed directly to Sacred Heart in your name.
Many of our school families use this organization to help pay for tuition.
