Please fill out our membership form and also let us know if you're interested in roles like volunteering during events or serving on a committee. The PTA is looking to fill the following vacancies: treasurer, assistant treasurer, fundraising director, assistant fundraising director, parent representative on the LSAT (1), and parent representatives for the Ward 6 Public School Parent Organization (2). To nominate yourself or someone else that you believe will best represent the interests of J.O. Wilson and the Cardinal community, please complete the nomination form by Friday, Oct. 7, at 6 p.m. Nominations will also be allowed from the floor during the meeting on Oct. 11.

Stop by on Wednesday from 8:15 to 9 a.m. at both the ECE and main entrances for morning grab-and-go coffee after drop-off! Meet PTA representatives, mingle with fellow parents and learn about upcoming events.

On Friday, Oct. 21, at 4 p.m. the JOW Wilson PTA presents our Fall Festival, Bake Sale, and Outdoor Movie Night!
We’ll have pumpkin decorating, face painting, fall-themed activities, a bake sale, and we’ll end the evening with a Halloween-themed movie! Decorating and games begin at 4 p.m. The movie screening starts at sundown. Closed captions will be provided. Refreshments (pizza, popcorn, snacks and drinks) and baked goods will be available for purchase. This event is open to all; please help spread the word to friends and neighbors. To purchase pumpkins, please complete the pre-order form by Monday, Oct. 17.

If you would like to contribute baked goods to the bake sale, please sign up here. All items must be individually packaged/wrapped and NO NUTS, please.

To make this event a success, we will need a lot of volunteers to assist with set-up, concessions and clean-up. If you can help during the afternoon/evening of Friday, Oct. 21, or on Thursday, Oct. 20, to help unload pumpkins (for about one hour during the school day; exact time TBD), then sign up here.
