A Note from Mrs. Williams
This week flew right by, and we are only 2 weeks away from school being out for summer! There are many things happening in the coming weeks that you'll want to know about, so please review all of the information below.
There has also been a recent uptick in our number of students going home sick quite early in the day after arriving to school. If your child is sick, please do not send them to school. We want all of our students to be able to participate in all of the end-of-year events, so keeping germs and sick bugs out of the school is really important. Thank you for your help with this.
We never know what the weather will do each day, so I truly hope this weekend is filled with sunshine for you!
Sincerely,
Mrs. Williams

Incumbents retain seats on school board
- News Article
- Northwest ISD voters have re-elected Steve Sprowls, Dr. Lillian Rauch and Jennifer Murphy to the district’s school board, according to preliminary results. Following certification of results, the incumbent trio will be sworn to a new term at the May 22 school board meeting.
Votes will be canvassed during a special meeting on May 16 to formally certify election results. When Mr. Sprowls, Dr. Rauch and Mrs. Murphy are sworn in on May 22, they will begin new three-year terms steering the direction of the school district.
Beginning May 1 - no charges will be added to any meal account.
What this means:
• All meal accounts MUST have funds on the account OR cash must be used to purchase any meals or a la carte (ALC) items.
• A courtesy meal will be offered if a meal account does not have sufficient funds, or the student does not have cash.
• If a meal account is zero or has a negative balance, regardless of the amount, funds must be added to My School Bucks (https://www.myschoolbucks.com/). Note: it can take up to 48 hours for added funds to be posted to your account.
• Items can be purchased with cash.
• If a meal account has funds, no action is needed. This only applies to zero or negative balance accounts.
Transfer application window open through May 15
Northwest ISD allows families to request transfers to another campus for the next school year during a window that opens annually on April 1. Transfers requests are subject to the capacity of a campus, as several schools are closed to transfers because they are near or over their designed student enrollment.
