ATHLETIC DEPARTMENT - Week of October 30, 2022
HIGH SCHOOL ATHLETICS
VARSITY FOOTBALL
The Eagles football season continues with a win over Vineland High School 28-21 in the Regional Invitational Tournament. Dylan Camp and Christian Rando each scored two touchdowns. Joe Martin added successful extra point tries. Mike Simeon had a block punt. The Eagles now play for the R.I.T. Championship, date and time TBD.
VARSITY FIELD HOCKEY
Field hockey won their first round state game 8-1 over Manalapan. Kara Wilson had 3 goals and 2 assists, Jenna Gray had 2 goals and 3 assists to lead the lady Eagles. Desiree Moore had 1 goal and 1 assist, Julia Zappile had a goal, and Olivia Desher had a goal and an assist. Anna Smith also added an assist.
We travel to Washington Township Friday for the second round.
GIRLS TENNIS
Girls tennis finished its season with a 4-1 win over Millville. Jamie Theophall capped off her career with 53 singles wins! Lauren Theophall won her last match to finish her tennis career with 58 varsity wins! Lilly Munoz won 6-1, 6-0. Doubles Demi Lu & Belina Zhang won 6-0, 6-1. Elisa Liberi & Lily Ferriola finished the season with a 6-0, 6-0 win. Season record is 16-5.
In more good news, Jamie Theophall was named to the South Jersey Group 4 All Star team. Lilly Munoz was awarded a $1000 scholarship from the South Jersey Tennis Coaches Association. Congratulations to both!

Middle School Winter 1 sport registration will open on October 1, and will begin on Dec. 12.
Winter 1 sports include Boys' and Girls' Basketball, Wrestling, and Unified Bowling.
Winter 2 sports includes Co-ed Volleyball and Unified Basketball. Registration will open Dec. 1 and practices will begin February 21.

· No hard copies, emails or faxes will be accepted.
· Re-Cert packets and COVID Forms are now part of the registration question/process. No hard copies needed.

· Please review the appropriate registration dates for your interested season found on the registration page. · You do not need a physical to register, but must have an exam uploaded seven days prior to your first tryout.
