🍎 PRINCIPAL'S CORNER 🍎
Today we wrapped up MAP assessments for the majority of our learners. The students did a wonderful job and we are so proud of them. Next week is our PBIS assembly to reinforce our 4 B’s as an entire school building. It is always fun (and loud) when we get together as a large group! Thank you for practicing the 4B’s at home with your students.
Enjoy the weekend!
Amy
💡 STUDENT HANDBOOK REMINDER 💡
Hi Montgomery Families,
Please remember smartwatches can be worn at school but they may not be turned on. They are disruptive to the learning process. Below is in our school handbook for you to refer to if you have questions.
Thank you for your cooperation!

CELL PHONES/ELECTRONIC DEVICES
If children bring cell phones and electronic devices to school they must be turned off and must be kept in backpacks at elementary schools and lockers at Edwin H. Greene Intermediate, unless given permission by a school official. Smart watches may be worn but must be turned off. If cell phones or electronic devices are seen or heard during the school day, they will be kept in the front office until a parent comes to school to retrieve it. ✏️ PTO NEWS ✏️
Happy Friday!
I enjoyed seeing some of you at our first meeting last night. I hope it was informative and engaging for everyone. There will be a recording of the meeting as well as copies of the handouts posted on the website in the coming days. Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions or concerns and I look forward to seeing you all at our November 9 meeting!
DON'T FORGET TO JOIN THE PTO!!!!
If you are part of the Montgomery Elementary family, we encourage you to join us in making our school a great place for kids. PTO membership offers you many opportunities to learn about what is going on at the school, to be involved and make some friends along the way. PTO members can vote on the PTO budget items and expenditures and receive access to our directory via the DirectorySpot app (there is NO membership fee for the 2023-2024 school year!) Joining the PTO does not obligate you to volunteer; it's just a great way to show your support of Montgomery Elementary!
To learn more and join the PTO, follow the QR code or visit our membership page!
