🥬 JDP Garden Club: Next meeting Thursday, October 26th.
Community Garden Beautification Days: Satuday, October 7th, my family and I were joined by 4 volunteers as well as Mrs. Moore from the UF/IFAS Family Nutrition Program and her husband, who delivered 10 bags of soil and some green transplants (peppers, tomatos, basil, oregano and dill). We were able to clear the walking path of the South garden and lay down mulch. The children who volunteered were amazing! They helped weed, naturally kill weeds and plant all our new transplants. We didn't mark everything off our to-do list- but we made progress!
Stay tuned for our NEXT beautification day!
