Boys Swimming
The boys swim team had a busy week last week. We had meets against Pottsgrove, Upper Perkiomen, and PW. The boys won against both Pottsgrove and Upper Perk adding to their 8-1 PAC record. Unfortunately, the boys lost a tough meet to PW who is a Suburban 1 team. The exciting co-ed relay at the end of the meet also lost the Grudge Match trophy. The mixed relay swimmers were: Lucy Michaels, Madison Wimmer, Eric Zang, and Christopher Groff. The team put up a good fight against the Colonials. This Tuesday, we have our final dual meet of the season against Owen J Roberts, who is undefeated. This meet is also our senior night and we will honor our one senior boy, Christopher Groff. Please come out and support our Warriors and congratulate Christopher!

Cheerleading
This was a big week for the MHS Varsity Cheerleading Team! The Warriors traveled to Hershey to compete at the PIAA State Competitive Spirit Championship. The team hit a fantastic routine in prelims with zero deductions earning them a spot in the semi-final round on Day 2. This is a huge accomplishment, and the coaches are so very proud of these hard-working athletes. A special shout out to our Tribe of parents, family, friends and alums who made the trip to Hershey to support the team- we definitely felt the love in the stands!
Our standout athlete this week is junior Gianna Kavash. Gianna is a veteran on the team who performs with confidence on the competition floor. She is an amazing base and a powerful tumbler who brings so much talent to the team. At States, Gianna handled the pressure of a jam-packed routine with ease and absolutely shined on the mat!
