Principal's Message
Dear Thomas Families,
You’ve heard about “The TIGER Way” at Thomas Elementary. This month, we have focused on the T in TIGER, which stands for Trustworthy. At school, being trustworthy means that others can depend on you. Sent to deliver a book to another classroom? Your teacher can trust you to go straight there and make good choices in the hallway. Playing GaGa at recess? Your friends can trust you to be honest about following the rules and taking your outs.
We compared being trustworthy to being a member of a rowing team. All team members have to do what’s expected of them, or else the boat might not get where it needs to go quickly enough! Being trustworthy is an important piece of being a part of our school community.
Go Tigers,
Melissa Garris
