Winter clothing drive

Do you have old winter attire that your child(ren) has(ve) outgrown? We are exploring the idea of having "classroom community bins" of extra winter attire.


We are currently seeking winter items of varying sizes for community utilization in the school for our classroom community bins. A primary example of this would be specifically in cases where a student has forgotten items at home and is in need for the day. Any donations would be greatly appreciated.


See the google form below if interested in donating so we can get an idea of the inventory levels and sizing information of items coming in. THANK YOU for supporting our student community!

Door Procedures

Any students arriving at school BEFORE 8:00 - Please come to the FRONT main entrance of the building. Please come in to stay warm and safe.


Students arriving between 8:00-8:10, Please proceed to the classroom-designated door.


Arrivals AFTER 8:10 am, Please come through the front main office door and check in with Mrs. Guerin in the office to sign in. - All other doors will be locked at this time.

Absence Reporting

Friendly Reminder - Please ensure absence coding is reflected as such:

  • FLU - Illness with flu and/or cold like symptoms

  • ILL - Other illness or injury.

  • EXC - Parent Excused (i.e taking your child on a holiday)

School Fees

School fees are due for payment through Parent Portal online access and are payable via Interac, VISA or Mastercard.


If you are experiencing financial hardship please review and submit the fee waiver attached below and contact the principal, Mr. Ed Kucy to discuss support.

Purdy's Chocolate

Exciting news! Your Purdys Chocolate order will be ready for pick up this coming week at Holy Redeemer!


Please pick up your order from the office during school hours on Thursday December 15th or Friday December 16th. If your order is small and you are comfortable having your student bring the bag home, please have them go to the office to pick it up. All bags are labelled by the last name of the person that ordered on-line. Thank you for supporting Holy Redeemer and the fundraising goals of Parent Council!

Library News

Christmas Spirit has arrived at the library, and students are excited to read all about it. With this cold weather, it’s a great time to curl up with a good book and get lost in a story. Curl up by the fire, maybe grab a hot chocolate, and do some winter reading.
