Enrollment for the next enrollment year will occur automatically and families will be responsible for tuition according to the withdrawal schedule below, unless written notification of cancellation is provided to the principal prior to May 1.

Terms of release from tuition payments and contractual obligations are as follows:

Cancellation:

● If notification of cancellation is received by SHCS prior to May 1, the student will not be enrolled at SHCS for the next enrollment year, and no tuition for the next enrollment year will be charged.

Withdrawal:

● Notification of withdrawal after May 1 but prior to July 15: tuition for the enrollment year will be charged at 25% of contract amount.

● Notification of withdrawal on or after July 15 but prior to December 1: tuition for the enrollment year will be charged 50% of contract amount.

● Notification of withdrawal on or after December 1: tuition for the current enrollment year will be charged at 100% of the contract amount.

Under any withdrawal circumstances, the technology fee is non-refundable and will not be prorated.

Four of our catechists have completed their Level I training for Catechesis of the Good Shepherd! This training consisted of over 90 hours preparing them to develop and facilitate an atrium for 3-6 year old children.

Soon the catechists can begin setting up the materials. Here are some ways you can help:

I am thrilled we have hired two new teachers for this coming year. I am still waiting for all paper work to be returned, and once this happens, I will introduce you to our newest staff members.

We are looking for a cross country coach for this fall. Boys and girls in grades 4-8 may participate. If you are interested in coaching, please contact Karen Bursey.

This is a great part time job for a college student or school parent. Half of the work can be completed at home and half of the work will be done in the evening.

Part of the job requirements include attending 3 athletic meetings a year, supporting coaches, handing out schedules and athletic uniforms, and organizing the concession stand.

It's that time of the year to start thinking about playing fall sports. SH offers Cross Country (4th-8th grade), Soccer (5th-8th grade), and Volleyball (5-8th grade) in the fall. If you are interested in playing a fall sport, please click on the link below and fill out the athletic form! Practices will start mid-August with games/meets the week after school starts! If you are interested in coaching, please let me know as well!

We are looking for people to be available to substitute teach at Sacred Heart. CSCOE provides training to help you with the specifics. Substitute teachers can specify which grades they are interested in subbing. Please contact Karen Bursey for more information.

The Aim Higher application is again available for families to submit at mytads.com. As a reminder, any student who has not yet been considered for an Aim Higher scholarship is welcome to apply, but priority is given to students new to Catholic schools. We review applications on a rolling basis throughout the summer so we encourage families to apply as early as they are able.

Parents may start sending in used uniforms for our sale in August. You may turn them in through the end of July.

AT THIS TIME, WE ARE NOT ACCEPTING IN UNIFORM PANTS. WE HAVE 2 BINS FULL. WE WILL TAKE UNIFORM SHORTS.

Coach Maureen Finley has graciously volunteered to run the summer basketball camp once again.

Simply email drop off a check in the school office to save a spot.

Cost: $25 per player.
When: August 28-31st Monday-Thursday.

Time: 10-11:30 am.
