Ms. Hamill's Message π
What an exhilarating week we've had at Ramirez CSD! Last Friday's Peacock Bowl was a touchdown of fun and learning, combining the excitement of football with educational activities. Our students had a blast engaging in football-themed lessons, showcasing the spirit of teamwork and sportsmanship in every class. A huge shoutout to our dedicated teachers for their creativity and commitment to making learning engaging and enjoyable. Your efforts truly make a difference in our students' educational journey.
Looking ahead, we're buzzing with excitement for our Valentine's Day celebration this Wednesday at 2:00 PM. It promises to be a day filled with love, friendship, and community spirit. As we prepare, please refer to the list of students sent home last week to ensure everyone is included in the Valentineβs Day party planning. We will also host a SHAC and parent meeting before the party at 1:00 PM. These gatherings are a wonderful opportunity for us to connect, share ideas, and further strengthen our school community.
We also have some fantastic news to share! Thanks to the nomination by one of our amazing parents, Lorraine Elizondo, RCSD has been recognized by Desouza Injury Lawyers. We've won special appreciation treats, which will be a delightful gift for our staff. We eagerly anticipate their visit to our campus this week and can't wait to enjoy the treats.
Thank you, Lorraine, and all our RCSD families, for your continued support and involvement. It's the collective effort of our entire community that makes Ramirez CSD such a special place. Let's keep this momentum going, celebrating our achievements and looking forward to creating more memorable moments together. Go Peacocks! π¦

Our Weekly Character Trait β¨
RESPECT... At Ramirez CSD, we understand that respect is the cornerstone of a positive and thriving school environment. This week, we highlight the importance of showing respect to everyone in our community. We encourage families to extend lessons into the home highlighting respect for their peers, teachers, and school staff, such as listening attentively, using polite language, and valuing others' opinions.. Engage in conversations about respecting differences, practicing polite manners, and acknowledging the value of each person's contributions to the family and community. Together, we can cultivate a culture of respect that extends far beyond our school walls.
