Dear Overlook Families,
I am writing to you today to share some exciting news about the start of the school year! The students are adjusting well to their new teachers, classrooms, and routines. We are focusing on being "SAFE" the first few months of school. Today, we had our 1st fire drill and the students did an amazing job exiting the building quickly and quietly. We are also reinforcing being kind and responsible. If you ask your children about the Overlook Way, they should be able to tell you that an Overlook Grizzly is safe, kind, and responsible. We reinforce these values in all settings, whether it is on the playground, in gym class, or at home.
I have had the opportunity to visit all the classrooms for grades 1-4 to share a little bit about myself to help the students get to know me better. I will be visiting the preschool and kindergarten classes when they are in session.
Please feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions or concerns. I am always happy to help!
Sincerely,
A.M. Drop-off P.M. Pick-up
