We are looking forward to a great new year! Each month we will publish this newsletter to provide you with timely information about Denmark Performing Arts. Please take time to review and mark your calendars for important events, rehearsals, and shows.

We also ask that you download our DPA TeamApp (directions below) to stay apprised of all communication from our Directors and POPA. This app is for Parents and Students. You can use it on your phone or computer.

If you are new to Denmark, Welcome to the DPA Family! We have an amazing Troupe and such supportive parents. It is going to be a great year!

DPA Directors and POPA Officers

We are thrilled to offer our DPA Community the opportunity to purchase a Season Pass for the 23-24 theatre season! Each pass grants you one ticket for each of our Main Stage Productions and 20% off any of our acting shows. Season Pass Holders will also be granted early access to the theatre. Each pass will come with a lanyard to present at will call.

Passes are $55 each ($5 savings). Passes will be available for purchase online, at the Picnic on August 11, and on show nights in the lobby.

Students - Start your preparations for Legally Blonde and/or Sweeney Todd auditions. The auditions will be on Flipgrid and callbacks will be 8/7-8/11 after school. All you need to prepare for the audition is a full length song from Legally Blonde or Sweeney. NO monologue at all, only the song.

If you are planning to audition for both shows, you will need to prepare a full length song from both shows. Both shows are open to everyone! Tech applications for Legally Blonde will be out soon as well! Feel free to message any of the officers with questions!

Reminders for those registered for the London Trip - Spring Break 2024!

Visit the Thespian Tours website for all trip details. Be sure to APPLY for, or RENEW, your Passport ASAP! You don't want to wait as processing times are increasing.

Mark your calendars for Mandatory Meetings:

Registration for the London 2024 trip is closed, but we are already planning our next adventure!

All parents and students need this APP! We will be communicating through a Team App and ask that you download it on your phone (compatible with iPhone and Android). Additionally, you can access the app on your computer.

1. Follow the instructions below to download the app.
2. Find Denmark Performing Arts
3. Request access groups - EVERYONE should request General Members. Then, request EITHER Parent or Student group.
4. Notifications will be sent through the app and email.

This is the BEST way to stay informed! POPA, Directors, and Troupe Officers will be using the DPA App as a primary means of communication this year, including an updated calendar and rehearsal schedules.

Patrons provide Denmark High School Performing Arts with resources to provide the highest quality learning experience in Theater, Chorus, and Drama students of Troupe 8720.

Patrons help fund:

• Theater equipment - lighting, sound, projectors, cameras, streaming equipment, etc.

• Costumes and Set Construction

• Scholarships for Troupe Members

Families, Community Members, or Businesses may choose to:

• Make a monetary donations (4 giving levels) OR Sponsor a Rehearsal $50
• Platinum Level $1000, Gold Level $500, Silver Level $250, Bronze Level $100.
• Platinum - Bronze Level Patrons are granted show tickets (based on level of giving), early access to shows, and will receive a Patron Magnet
