MISSION: IGNITING A PASSION FOR LEARNING
Message from Superintendent Dr. Bazata
Dear Kewaskum School District Families and Staff,
At the Special Board meeting on January 27th, 2022, the board acted to close the i4Learning Community School after the 2021-2022 school year. This difficult decision was based on many factors, including budget ramifications and the results of the 2021 Community Survey sent out this past November.
With our students and staff at the center of our decisions, the administration team is working on creating a plan for a successful transition. We will be including in that plan an opportunity for staff and families to give their input. We will also be communicating throughout the transition process.
We realize that this change will impact many families, students, and staff members at all three elementary schools, and it will impact them in different ways. We are committed to making this process positive and smooth, and we look forward to partnering with our stakeholders to be as collaborative and clear as possible. We will have a listening session for families and the community to share questions, feedback, and suggestions on the transition process on:
On February 8, from 6:00 - 7:00 pm in the KHS cafeteria
On February 16, from 6:00 - 7:00 pm in the KHS cafeteria
If you cannot make these meetings, you can also fill out this Google Form to submit your input (https://forms.gle/ajq9FUqbS8An2TJ86). We will also schedule listening sessions for staff.
