GOT SPIRIT? WE HEAR IT!
Thank you to all who participated in a week of celebrating Woolwich Central School spirit! We had a lot of fun with the themes each day. It's true what they say: You just can't hide that Wildcat pride!

WEEKLY WELLNESS WITH MR. HUTCHINGS
THINGS TO TALK ABOUT
- Thanks to funding from our fabulous PTA, Mr. Huston and Ms. Luchies are able to hold 2 different middle school book clubs this year. The groups meet monthly to discuss their reading selection, and they try to keep their reading choices diverse. So far this year, they have read historical fiction, nonfiction, and realistic fiction books. Three of the choices have been from the Maine Student Book Award list for middle school readers. This week, one of the groups met to discuss the National Book Award finalist, The Life and Crimes of Hoodie Rosen. They also enjoyed some snacks!
- Middle school floor hockey begins after break with teams playing 3-4pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. The first practice will be on Wednesday, 2/28.
- Congratulations to our First and Third Grade students who presented a beautiful concert on Tuesday! The performance highlighted international children's songs, many of which were sung in their native language! Both grades had student accompanists on a variety of instruments. We are so proud of these students!!
