Resource Spotlight
Have you heard about the Bonneville Internet Speed Test being administered by your friends at Utah Education Network (UEN)?
It’s part of a statewide initiative to identify areas of Utah where homes lack the quality of internet service today’s learners need. The data collected will be used to invest in resources to improve broadband internet access in neighborhoods across the state.
Please share the attached materials with students and families, and let them know that:
- The link speed.uen.org/ is safe to click on.
- The test takes about 30 seconds and is for any student to take.
- The data collected will not be personally identifiable.
While Internet Speed Week is September 18-22, some students may see the link on their devices as early as next week. We hope each student will take the test at least three times.
