November 2023

A Message from the Superintendent
Dear Clarkstown Central School District Families and Staff,
I would like to take this moment to send each of you my warmest wishes for a happy and healthy Thanksgiving. As we prepare to celebrate with family and friends, I want to express how grateful I am to be a part of such a special community that goes above and beyond to make our District a success.
I am truly thankful to be surrounded by a wonderful group of dedicated and caring educators, administrators and staff who want to see every child succeed. You work tirelessly to create a positive and affirming environment, allowing our students to learn, grow, feel safe and supported. I am also thankful for our parents, caregivers and families for your continued partnership. Your commitment allows us to persevere in our shared mission as champions for all learners. Lastly, I am grateful for the thoughtful and caring spirit of CCSD students. Over 100 members of Clarkstown High School North's Seasons of Giving Club and Clarkstown High School South's Assets Leadership Team filled backpacks last weekend with essential items and personal notes for the JL Blessings organization. As a result of the students’ collaboration and dedication to positively impact their world, 136 backpacks will be delivered to people in need in Rockland, New York City and New Jersey.
I wish you all a wonderful Thanksgiving and a restful, long holiday weekend! Now, let’s take a look back at some of the memorable moments and accomplishments from November.
With much gratitude,
Marc P. Baiocco, Ed.D.
