Fall is in the air, and we all "survived" the legendary ISU vs. Iowa rivalry football game. Some of us were disappointed and some of us were happy. But in the end, we can all be proud to be represented by two great football teams from the state of Iowa. And of course, we can't forget the UNI Panthers and their loyal fans as well! Make that 3 great football teams! Even though the scores were ugly in some cases, we are still proud to be from Iowa!
Speaking of being proud, we had our first home football game Friday. The band sounded great, the cheerleaders led an enthusiastic crowd, and we ended with a victory! We saw some impressive performances from our cross country student-athletes and our volleyball players as well this past week. Keep up the great work!
The picture above is an old one of my daughter, Raina, and my son, Tommy. We've been split on ISU and Iowa for years in my family. It makes for an interesting afternoon of football...
