Principal's Message
πFort Families,
I hope this message finds you well as we transition into the beautiful season of autumn. It's always a joy to keep you informed about the exciting events and activities happening at our school. As we approach the end of October, we have some delightful plans in store to celebrate the spirit of fall and Halloween.
Fall and Halloween Celebration on October 31st:
Mark your calendars for Tuesday, October 31st, as we gear up for a day filled with fun and festivities right here at The Fort. We're inviting all our students to participate in our Fall and Halloween Celebration by wearing festive fall clothing or a school-appropriate costume to school on that day. It's a fantastic opportunity for our young ones to embrace the colors and warmth of autumn.
Room Parents' Involvement:
To make this day even more special, we encourage our room parents to collaborate with our dedicated teachers. You can work together to organize a fall-themed craft or activity for your child's class. This hands-on approach helps foster a sense of community and engagement among our students.
Spirit Walk Showcase:
One of the highlights of the day will be our Spirit Walk, during which students will have the chance to showcase their fall spirit. It's a heartwarming sight to see our children dressed up in their seasonal best, reflecting the vibrancy of autumn. The Spirit Walk will be a moment of shared joy for everyone.
As we gear up for this festive occasion, we kindly request that all costumes be school-appropriate and sensitive to our diverse school community. We want to ensure a comfortable and respectful environment for all students.
We look forward to celebrating the beauty of fall and the excitement of Halloween with your children on October 31st. If you have any questions or would like to contribute to the event in any way, please feel free to reach out to your child's teacher or our school office.
Thank you for your continued support and involvement in our school community. Together, we create memorable experiences for our students.
Wishing you a warm and colorful autumn season ahead!
Warm regards,
Molly Courtien

We believe that celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month at The Fort is an opportunity for our students to learn, grow, and appreciate the beauty of diversity. By embracing and learning about different cultures, we hope to foster a sense of belonging and respect among our students.
Early Dismissal Requests
To help streamline our dismissal process and minimize disruptions to classroom instruction, we kindly request that all early dismissals be completed before 1:25 PM. This allows us to maintain a focused learning environment for our students and ensures their educational experience remains uninterrupted.
We understand that there may be exceptional circumstances that require an early dismissal, and we will always try to accommodate those situations. However, please communicate early dismissals to the front office before 1:25 PM.
Thank you for your cooperation and understanding. Your commitment to this effort is greatly appreciated.
