At Holy Cross, we strongly believe that fostering children's faith and academics is a partnership between family, church, and school. That is why this week during parent-teacher conferences we thoroughly enjoy speaking with parents and guardians to build relationships. Meaningful involvement is essential for a children's development. Thank you for taking interest in your child's education. Please reach out with any questions and concerns. Our ultimate goal is to help each child reach their fullest potential and be successful.
Every year the Archdiocese asks each school to provide the "Empowering God's Children Youth Safe Environment Program". There are five lessons: Physical Boundaries (Safe and Unsafe Touching Rules), Safe Adults, Safe Touches and Special Safe Adults, Boundaries (You Have Rights!), Secrets, Surprises and Promises, and Being a Safe Friend. In order to complete some of the lessons, we are partnering with Sunflower House. If you plan to provide a safe environment education at home and plan to opt-out, please be sure to fill out the form that was sent home with your child or please call the office for a copy.
