As we embrace the month of February, I am thrilled to share some exciting news and essential information with you. The spirit of learning and growth continues to thrive at Miltona Elementary, and we are grateful for the ongoing support from our wonderful students, dedicated staff, and engaged parents.

This month, we are delighted to spotlight the remarkable achievements of our students in their academic endeavors. As we review our updated data from last month's STAR and FAST testing, I am reminded of the hard work each student and teacher is investing into themselves. We encourage you to join us in celebrating your child’s successes as your encouragement plays a crucial role in their continued motivation.

Additionally, we would like to express our appreciation for the strong sense of community that defines the GMC buildings. Our schools thrive on collaboration, and we value the partnership between home and school in fostering a positive learning environment. If you have any feedback or suggestions, please feel free to reach out. Your input is invaluable in shaping the educational experience for our students.

Looking ahead, we are excited about upcoming events and projects that will further enrich the educational journey for our students. Stay tuned for announcements and ways to get involved in various events this month such as school dances and Bingo for Books. We will soon be sending out information pertaining to Kindergarten registration. If you know of anyone with a child that will be eligible for the 2024-2025 kindergarten class, please spread the word about our upcoming registration. Parents have many options for their child’s education and it is a huge decision, if you know of a family on the fence about which building, district, etc to send their child, please encourage them to reach out for a conversation, meeting, tour.
