Colorado Sports Day on October 2, 2023
Let's celebrate Colorado Sports! Wear your favorite sports gear on Monday, October 2, 2023! Please follow our free dress guidelines outlined in our Parent/Student Handbook
Dress Like a Book Character Day October 27, 2023
Dear Parents,
All students are invited to dress like a book character on Friday, October 27, 2023. Students must identify what book character they are dressing like by having a copy of their book with them. Book characters chosen cannot be violent or scary. No weapons are allowed to be carried. Book character dress must be appropriate for students to remain in all day. Free dress guidelines must be followed. We will have a literacy parade outside weather permitting or in the gym where all of our K-4 students will show their book characters and books to our middle school students. If your child does not dress up like a book character they can still take part in the literacy parade by showing their favorite book. Our middle school students will actively be looking for different book characters and will be entered into a drawing for identifying different book characters. Please fill this form out for each child that you have at CCA so that we can identify each book character! Dress Like a Book Character and Literacy Parade

A Note From Dennis
As you are likely aware, this year we invested in the future of the service we provide to our partner schools, moving our distribution center operations from Portland, Oregon to Fort Worth, Texas. To support this new facility, we also invested in new computer systems to meet our goal of providing families with a more streamlined customer experience. Regrettably, the implementation of these new systems and capabilities has not met our own expectations during this busy back-to-school season, which has led to delays in the fulfillment of many customer orders.
We’d like to assure you that the causes of these delays are unique to the launch of our new distribution center and computer systems and are not the result of planning or manufacturing shortcomings, as our entire team spent the last year working hard to rectify the supply chain issues we faced in previous seasons.
We knew there might be growing pains with this investment, but we did not anticipate these would be passed on to our partners and customers as they have been during this back-to-school season. For this we are sincerely sorry – we have been serving schools for more than 100 years, and we take the promises we make very seriously. You are more than welcome to visit our new facility in Fort Worth, Texas, so you might see firsthand what we have built to better serve our customers. We are confident that our investments will offer a much-improved customer experience in the coming year. Thank you for your continued patience and understanding.
Sincerely,
Jeff Blade, DENNIS Uniform CEO
Tom Shipley, DENNIS Uniform Board Chairman
