Note from Dr. Mullenschlader
May 4th is a day to remember Star Wars. I can't quite figure out why, except for the fact that you can say "May the 4th be with you." If you are like me that brings up the nostalgic feeling of childhood, when times were innocent and we didn't come home until after it was dark. The fun that we parents had as a child is important to remember because it can help us keep life in perspective for our own children. Our kids may play on multiple sports teams, perform dance recitals, or perform on some other level, but the bottom line is they are still children. They are still children who need to play, imagine, run, sing, dance, be silly and have fun. As we fly through the month of May on our way to the summer, let us remind ourselves that kids need to have fun and enjoy life. It is that enjoyment of life that is a foretaste of the ultimate joy, union with God. I pray that you have a great week.
Please pray for our 8th graders who will be at camp next week.
Congratulations to our Catholic Math Contest Teams
