Testing Head's Up
Roxbury High School will be administering the NJGPA re-test on October 10-13.
All 10th and 11th-grade students will take the PSAT/NMQST on October 11. We will share more specifics as we get closer to October.
PSAT Prep
Dear Roxbury High School families,
For the class of 2025 and younger, the College Board is transitioning the PSAT and SAT from pencil-and-paper format to digital format. Becoming familiar with the new digital-format tests will be key for students to feel confident as they head into their official PSAT in October of junior year.
Our friends at Revolution Prep are excited to support us through this transition by offering a free digital PSAT experience that most accurately reflects the official College Board test in format, user experience, adaptivity, and content. Students will learn how to navigate the new digital testing format and practice using the exact tools available to them on the real test, such as the graphing calculator, digital annotations, answer elimination, and much more!
Upon completing the practice exam, you will receive a score report illustrating three high-impact areas for your student to focus on for each section of the test (math, reading, and writing) and work with an Academic Advisor to build out a customized support plan to help your student feel confident on testing day.
Support your student in being prepared for the switch to the digital PSAT by registering for the practice test below:

Hispanic Heritage Month 9/15-10/15
Each year, the United States observes National Hispanic Heritage Month from September 15 to October 15, by celebrating the histories, cultures, and contributions of American citizens whose ancestors came from Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean and Central and South America.
Hispanic Heritage Month was first officially recognized in 1988. The day of September 15 is significant because it is the anniversary of independence for Latin American countries Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras and Nicaragua. In addition, Mexico and Chile celebrate their independence days on September 16 and September18, respectively. Also, Columbus Day, alternatively observed as Día de la Raza in a number of Latin American countries, falls within this 30 day period on October 12th.
