A Message from the Principal
Dear Bogle Families,
Wow, has it been a hot return! Despite the heat, our first few weeks were fun. It has been exciting getting to know all of our new Bulldogs. We had our first orientation assembly to introduce rules, our club fair was packed yesterday morning, and we kicked off the school year with music that plays the last 45 seconds of passing period. Students know where their classes are, and they are making it on time. In addition, teachers have been reviewing rules in student handbooks and will be sending home a parent acknowledgement signature sheet regarding expectations and practices.
Student celebrations have already begun! All staff members are handing out RESPECT tickets when they see students following our Respect Matrix. If students receive 5 or more from different staff, they receive the Ultimate Respect Award in the office, including Bogle swag. And they get to ring the bell! Watch social media for recap videos of the weeks to come. Ms. Bohling, our media specialist, is doing a great job of being at all of the right places to get the best pictures for sharing.
Next week our late bus will start running routes for any student who would like to attend after school tutoring. The bus will drop students off in the vicinity of their regular bus stop after starting the routes at 4:45 P.M. Students need a bus pass from their teacher for this option. Once individual teacher tutoring starts, Homework Hub is still to be determined regarding dates.
Open House is next week. Watch for your student's information flyer to come home. Their schedule should be written on the flyer, so you know where to go from session to session. If it is not on the flyer, you can log into Infinite Campus for their schedule information. We will be sharing curriculum covered as well as our Cash for Classrooms event that starts next week. Please see more information regarding Cash for Classrooms below. We are always one of the top schools in the ranks for this awesome initiative. This year the Payne Jr. High principal has decided that if Bogle comes in at the top again, she will wear a Bogle shirt to school all day! If Payne is at the top, I have to wear a Payne shirt to school all day!
This school year is going to be a productive and enjoyable year for all of us. Thank you for your support and we look forward to partnering with you in the education of our students.

Cash for Classrooms Campaign
Bogle is participating in the annual Chandler Education Foundation Cash for Classrooms Campaign. Donations support classroom and school grants that provide funding for innovative learning experiences like robotics, field trips, science materials, and technology. The maker space buckets in the library were paid for by a CEF grant! Your contribution, no matter how much, makes a big difference. Donate by cash or check sent back in the envelope provided or donate online at ChandlerCashForClassrooms.org. Donations of $100 or more will receive a State Forty-Eight CEF t-shirt as a thank you for supporting excellence in education.
We are asking for every student to return the envelope that was handed out in WIN today with a parent/guardian signature by Friday, August 4th. You can put cash or a check in the envelope, make a donation online, or return the envelope empty. WIN classes will earn spirit points for the percentage of students who return the envelope to their WIN teacher regardless of whether there is money included or not.
Last year Bogle raised $10,074.36. We were the second highest school in the district! We would love to beat that amount this year, so every little bit helps.

Help Keep Student Meal Accounts Current
Chandler Unified School District's Food & Nutrition Department is committed to providing access to healthy food for all students every day. Our charging and fill-in meal policies are in place to ensure students can eat a balanced meal, regardless of their account balance or payment status. This initiative allows members of the community to contribute funds to help cover the negative balance of student meal accounts.
We are at a zero balance on our lunch fund to assist those students who do not have enough money in their account to buy a lunch, and the need is great.
