PALCS Community Closet

We are not accepting any additional clothing donations other than the Current Needed Sizes listed below!

The purpose of the PALCS Community Closet is to help provide additional resources for our students and their families.

PALCS families and staff are able to donate items to the PALCS Community Closet to be sent to students and their families who may benefit. The PALCS Community Closet also accepts donations from community members and organizations.

PALCS students and families are eligible to receive packages created from items donated to the PALCS Community Closet.

Where to Donate

If you have items you wish to donate and have questions, please contact Alicia Ryberg at aryberg@palcs.org or (484) 883-5448.

Donation sites will be available at the front desk areas of our four locations; preferably scheduled prior to drop-off with PALCS Staff (Contact Alicia Ryberg).

Also - certain events (such as field trips and picnics) will be additional PALCS Community Closet drop-off points and will be noted on PALCS event registration information.

When To Donate

Donations are accepted during school hours (8am to 3pm), Monday through Friday. Please note the school calendar for any school days off, as the offices will not be open for drop-offs. Any additional hours will be noted accordingly.

If you are unable to drop off donations due to location, please contact Alicia Ryberg for additional donation drop-off options.

Students and their families can contact Alicia Ryberg, Community Resource Liaison, directly via email (aryberg@palcs.org) or phone (484-883-5448). Students and families can also contact another member of the PALCS staff and have their information referred to Alicia Ryberg.

What to Donate

NOTE: For any gently used clothing and blanket donations, we require these be laundered prior to donating.

• Gift Cards (grocery stores, gas cards, Target/Walmart) - HIGH PRIORITY
• School Supplies - HIGH PRIORITY
• Wire-bound notebooks
• Zip Pouches with pencils, pens, writing utensils, etc.
• Supplies on typical "back to school" supply lists
• Paper goods: Toilet paper (HIGH PRIORITY), Paper Towels, Tissues, Paper Plates
• Cleaning Supplies: All-Purpose Cleaner, Lysol Wipes, Dish Soap, Laundry Detergent- STRIPS or PODS only
• Toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, soap, deodorant, etc.) - HIGH PRIORITY
• Tampons, Pads, Liners - HIGH PRIORITY
• Non-Perishable Food Items

• School Supplies (notebooks, folders, markers, crayons, notecards, binders, etc.)
• Baby items (diapers, wipes, bottles, pacifiers, etc.)
• Books
• Fidgets (New)
• Winter Warmth Items (hats, gloves, scarves, all sizes, handwarmers, etc.)
• New or Gently used shoes (all sizes accepted!)
• New or Gently Used Blankets
• New or Gently Used Coats

Update as of 6/24/2024:
Due to an influx of generous gently used and new clothing donations, we are not currently accepting more clothing donations, other than in specific sizes; but are working hard to be able to accommodate more clothing donations in the future, and will keep this page updated.
